It’s important for me to keep up with the wedding trends and know what’s going on in the industry. I usually read most wedding websites, but I definitely have a few go-to websites that I always check out. I like the sites that are slightly different than the average wedding website because I like unique weddings.

Here are my favorite wedding websites

This is a blog based of out Seattle. The fact that it’s from Seattle is almost enough for me, but I love this blog because it features so many unique and funky weddings that I adore. I am always checking out this website (and I follow their social media pages as well).

This is also a really neat magazine, but I follow the blog routinely. I think it’s awesome that Kat has blue hair and has proven that it’s okay to be different in the wedding industry. If you know me, you know that I’m not quite as bold as having blue hair, but 99% of the time I have black tipped nails and I’m not afraid to wear colorful clothing. The truth is if I thought I could pull blue hair off, I totally would. But I love weddings with different colored wedding dresses, weddings that add creative ideas to their weddings, and weddings that don’t necessarily follow the norm….So I love this blog.

This is a local blog that I totally recommend you check out! Stacey (owner of the DJ company PopJukebox) runs it. She features real weddings from the Edmonton area, interviews with vendors and lots of other great stuff.  Breathless Moments also has a wedding featured on this site!

This website is a little bit more traditional, but it really does have some gorgeous ideas for weddings. I also like that it has a DIY section (see, I told you I wasn’t completely against DIY). That’s actually where I first saw those giant paper roses, which I thought were so cool.

Huffpost Weddings

Huffington Post is out of New York, and I really like that they have a wedding section. They give some great advice, and feature blogs written by some of the top wedding planners.

Are you having a unique wedding? I’d love to help you plan it!
